Pay attention to the taste, smell, and texture of your food. Practice 20-30 chews per bite to allow your brain and body to slow down.
πPrioritize Sleep: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night to allow your body to recharge and repair.
Support a healthy circadian rhythm (your body’s inner clock that supports your ability to sleep) by intentionally viewing outside light both in the morning and the afternoon. This activates receptors in your eye that communicate to your brain supporting this inner clock so you can fall asleep come nighttime.
On the flip side, avoid screen and overhead lights in the evening. Develop a nighttime routine that supports calming your nervous system for sleep.
